This patient seems to have my exact symptoms. http://www.topix.net/forum/health/leukemia/TU6Q54HFHETC24KS3

Seizures, possibly bipolar, or borderline schizophrenia. Unquestionably aspartame. Topomax worked well for me.

I read with dismay your recent update concerning the condition of the patient. That being said, that dismal condition could potentially be predicted by the contradictory nature of the so-called "orthomolecular treatment of schizophrenia" that this patient is undergoing according to the treatment regime listed at the side of the page.
Orthomolecular medicine is, and has proven to be, an effective treatment for schizophrenia. One first needs to determine whether one is an "undermethylator" or an "overmethylator". These two conditions relate directly to conditions of 'histadelia' and 'histapenia.'
Undermethylators are high in histamine due to inadequate methylation of histamine in the liver. These patients need supplements to destroy folic acid, which will also boost the methylation cycle (Methionine, Sam-E, Calcium, B6, Magnesium). These patients are functionally deficient in all neurotransmitters.
Overmethylators are low in histamine. Supplements must be taken to boost histamine levels. Those supplements are Folic Acid, B12, and Niacin primarily. These patients have an abundance of neurotransmitters and should be thought of as the more 'traditional schizophrenic' patient.
Taking a supplement contradicted for that individual's biochemical 'schizophrenic' condition would promote drastic results. For example, an overmethylator that takes Sam-E would become worse in whatever symptoms they are experiencing.
After evaluating the symptom list at the side of the page, this patient is not taking supplements tailored to their biochemical individuality, thus producing dreaded results. One needs to determine their methylation status before one engages in treatment.
Let me state now, I am a patient myself with no ties to any organizations or products. The Pfeiffer Treatment Center in Chicago, IL specializes in the exact treatment I speak of. There is so much info. online. Google some of the 'buzzwords' I posted and soon you will have your answers.
